Baby Celebration 2012: Win free 8x10" prints!

Do you have/know a cute baby between the ages of six weeks and 24 months?  In Corvallis on Wednesday, August 1, 2012?  Then check out the twelfth annual Baby Celebration at the Benton County Fair & Rodeo!  I've donated free 8x10" prints for the various category winners (see prize categories below).  So make sure those cute babies make it to the fair by 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, to participate in the contest for free prints and other prizes! 

The contest entry table will be located under the tent on the Main Stage lawn.  No entry fee, you just need to pay Fair admission to get in.  BONUS:  Since Wednesday is also Kid's Day at the Fair, all kids under 12 get in free to the fair all day!  (See here for fair admission fees.)

The contest is divided into three age divisions--each judged separately with winners in the following categories receiving prizes.  NOTE:  You are not required to be a citizen of Benton County to enter and win--any baby within the age group requirement is eligible!  Babies will compete in up to three of the following categories:

Best Decorated Diaper
Best Decorated Stroller
Biggest Dimples
Biggest Eyes
Biggest Smile

I can't believe how fast Evelyn grew! It's hard to believe it's been a whole year. What a fun little girl, and she's so expressive with her hands with her delicate little poses. What a sweetie!

Baby Portrait: Cailyn in Tacoma, Washington

Last weekend I had the great pleasure to photograph 3-month-old Cailyn and the rest of her family in Tacoma, Washington. What a cutie! She's a lively, vivacious girl and was a real trooper and stayed awake for several different set-ups. So we got a nice variety in her marathon photo session.





Even the strongest of us need a little cat nap along the way, here Cailyn catches a few winks in her beautiful mother's arms.


And of course we had to get some photos of big brother...



I love the delicate little way she held her hands...


And this final shot I've added a bit of grain and color effects to accentuate her delicate features.
